Privacy & discretion

Privacy is not an afterthought at Asha. It shapes how the first conversation begins.

At Asha, privacy starts before anyone commits to anything. The site, inquiry flow, and first conversation are designed to feel contained, direct, and human.

The first step

Reaching out to Asha does not put anyone into a large local system. The first conversation is meant to help clarify options, answer practical questions, and decide what makes sense before anything moves forward.

Self-pay & independence

Asha operates independently and on a self-pay basis. That matters because it reduces unnecessary administrative visibility and keeps the early part of the relationship simpler. There is no insurance claim created just because someone reaches out.

Limits to confidentiality

Privacy matters deeply here, but it is not limitless. There are narrow circumstances where information may need to be disclosed because the law requires it. Those boundaries are named clearly before anything moves forward.

  • Imminent danger to self
  • Imminent danger to others
  • Suspected child abuse or neglect
  • Suspected elder abuse or neglect

Outside of those circumstances, the goal is to keep the process contained and thoughtful.

Website data

Asha aims to collect only what is needed for the site to function and for a message to reach the right person. The site does not use invasive retargeting or sell information to marketers.

Questions

Questions about privacy, discretion, or how the first conversation works are welcome before scheduling. That conversation is part of the process too.
